Bethlehem Prayer Centre is located in the Punnathura Parish of Kottayam Diocese. Sri. Thomas Kurian came into a life of spiritual renewal after attending a charismatic retreats in 1986. Thereafter, he worked with Jesus Youth and also in the Children’s Ministry which later adopted the name “Christeen”. For about 15 years, he worked with the Christeen Ministry for conducting retreats for chil-dren and training programs for spiritual services among children. However, from 2000 onwards, he has been leading the services of the Bethlehem prayer centre, Punnathura. The primary aim of Bethelehem Ministry is the spiritual renewal of the lives of God’s people. For this, Bethlehem Ministry has been using all possible means for the proclamation of the good news. With the purpose of helping people to lead a holy life, they have been organizing retreats in parishes and training programmes for this purpose.Bethlehem ministry has been continually receiving the consent of the bishop of Kottayam Diocese and also the support of the parish in all its services.
